It doesnt do anything when I open it except tell me the sunrise of the current day in the current location.

Despite many of the negative reviews, a very nicely designed app which tends to be pretty accurate for the current location. Just cant wait for the iPhone 6/6+ optimization.

I have used this app for over a year. I use this app to help me set several outdoor timers to controll outdoor lighting. Simple and works great.

iPhone 4s, iOS 8.1 Works just fine. No problems.

Good app, but the in-app purchase flow is pretty shady. You guys should put up an alert before redirecting to the store, or in some other way indicate that Im about to buy something when I try to add weather info. Id have easily given five stars if I didnt feel like your were trying to pull a fast one on me.

This app is excellent and does the job well. I already have other programs for the weather so cant comment on the weather information that is an optional upgrade. Keep up the good work.

Get it just dont give your password if youre not trying to get charged

Not only does this app have very similar design cues as another app with similar functionality, it has the same name! Its not complete plagiarism, but its enough for me to recommend no one download this app out of respect for the original designer and app publisher.

Now with the 24 hour clock feature, in 12 hour mode there is a leading zero before the single digit hours. This is not normal or necessary. Also, a Notification Center widget would be more handy than having to open the app all time

Thanks for adding 24 hour support. Even though "you wouldnt use it yourself." Why even mention that? Seems unnecessary and condescending.

I used Rise daily until the last update. Until then, this beautiful app had current weather, Celsius, 4-day forecast, and notifications, just as shown in the demo screenshots. Now, those features have been removed, and when I tap on Weather or Notifications, a pop-up window invites me to purchase either or both features. Additionally, selecting the 24 hour clock has no effect on the displayed times. Two emails to support have received no response. Deleting until the original app features are restored or improved.

This is the first app I ever downloaded on my phone because Im always looking for sunrise/sunset times. Works great.

Simple and aesthetically pleasing

Update: with the new update, after selecting repeat alarm for seven days, as soon as I exit the app, I get all seven different notifications at once. I dont even bother to use the app anymore as its pretty useless to me without this alarm feature Also it would be nice if you could just permanently turn the alarm on, not have to reset it every seven days. I love this app. Very simple and straight forward, plus the graphics are pretty. That being said, I wish the alarm was more reliable. I have it set to go off 30 minutes before sunset every day. Unfortunately, it doesnt always go off. At least once or twice a week the app fails to notify me.

Tells me "first of light (null)". Pointless app now, does absolutely nothing. Used to be great. But they havent fixed it in over a month.

Its light enough to drive without headlights at 4:30am. Its now 7:30am and I could wear sunglasses if not for the clouds. This app says I have to wait two more hours for sunlight. Maybe on another planet

Dont know why I see so many poor reviews here? This is a simple app that does an outstanding job! I am a campground manager in Colorado and often need to know when I will have early first light and also when the sun will actually rise. Does the job accurately and with simplicity. Use this every workday! Love it!

It made my home screen need I say more? Seriously awesome app for getting accurate sunrise and sunset times. The weather and notifications really make it the perfect app.

This app gives you a nice View of the sunrise time and the sunset time. It also gives you the first light and the last light, which is sometimes surprisingly separated from the sunrise and sunset times. Its easy to flip back-and-forth between the two, though to the uninitiated it might be a little bit hard to remember which is the sunset time in which is the sunrise time. Theres no real distinction on the illustration which might be an improvement for a future edition. All in all, this is a nice display of the times and a nice clean app!
